It is roughly half way between Durban and several famous Big 5 Game Reserves in northern KZN. With Richards Bay's estuarine environment, we are an internationally renowned birders hot spot. We boast the deepest natural port in South Africa and host many sporting events including annual deep sea fishing competitions, triathlons, golf tournaments etc.
